BroadwayWorld has learned that Lonny Price will be directing two private readings of the David Rhodes comedy, THE ROAD TO SKYE on June 29 and June 30 in New York City. The readings are being presented by Brierpatch Productions.

The cast will feature Christopher Innvar (110 IN THE SHADE), Margaret Colin (ARCADIA), John Pankow (TWELVE ANGRY MEN), and Mary Catherine Garrison (LOVE ME A TENOR).

In The Road to Skye, mystery, mayhem and madness abound when a family of New York Baby Boomers gather on a remote Scottish Island to celebrate Stella's 50th birthday. Add a dragon, an unwanted pregnancy and a bag of hallucinogenic mushrooms to the mix and you're on THE ROAD TO SKYE.

This serio-comic tale explores family values, sexuality and morality with scope, heart, intelligence and humor.

David Rhodes is an actor and producer as well as a writer. David has an ongoing collaboration with Moving Parts Theater. His solo show RITES OF PRIVACY has garnered critical acclaim both in New York and London and will be presented in August 2010 as part of The New York International Fringe Festival. In addition to THE ROAD TO SKYE, his BETTER OR WORSE is also in development.
