Producer Makoto Deguchi has announced that TRIP OF LOVE, a new dance musical spectacle inspired by and set to the biggest hit songs of the 1960s, will open this fall at the Little Shubert Theatre (422 West 42nd St). Created, directed and choreographed by James Walski, TRIP OF LOVE will begin previews in September of 2015, and will officially open in October of 2015.

"I am overjoyed and so incredibly proud to bring TRIP OF LOVE to New York this fall," said producer Makoto Deguchi. "The songs audiences will hear and the dances they will find themselves watching are nothing short of spectacular, and I am thrilled to bring this giant of a show to the Little Shubert Theatre, where everyone can experience the TRIP OF LOVE adventure in an exciting, personal and intimate way."

American pop culture is still pulsing with the psychedelic energy of the Sixties, an era of expression and revolution around the world. The music told the story then and it will again this fall as TRIP OF LOVE brings the decade to life with over 25 of the biggest hits of the '60s, including "Blowin' In The Wind," "Born To Be Wild," "California Dreamin'," "I Saw Her Standing There," "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'," "White Rabbit," "You Don't Own Me" and many more. TRIP OF LOVE will feature a cast of 23 actors alongside a ten-piece orchestra.

The TRIP OF LOVE creative team includes director/choreographer James Walski (Saturday Night Fever, Starlight Express), scenic design consultant Tony Award winner Robin Wagner (The Producers, Dreamgirls), and costume designer Tony Award winner Gregg Barnes (Aladdin, Kinky Boots). TRIP OF LOVE is produced by Makoto Deguchi (Blue Man Group: Tubes), and had its world premiere at the Theatre Brava! in Osaka, Japan.

Ticketing and casting information for the New York premiere of TRIP OF LOVE will be announced shortly.
