After a 6 month run Off-Broadway at Actor's Temple Theater, The J.A.P Show: Jewish American Princesses of Comedy will head south for the winter, as The J.A.P Show takes residence in downtown Miami, Florida for a multi-week sit-down production starting December 20; followed by a multi-week run at The Kravis Center in Palm Beach, Florida. The show will wrap-up its regular performing schedule Off-Broadway by October 1.

"The J.A.P. Show: Jewish American Princesses of Comedy, which began performances at the Actors Temple Theatre on April 9, stars a rotating roster of New York's funniest Jewish Female comics such as Cory Kahaney, Jessica Kirson, Julie Goldman, Adrienne Tolsch, and Sherry Davey," explain press notes, "These Comediennes amply demonstrate, through their own zany stories and stand-up, how the Jewish female comics of yore are treasured pioneers without whom they would not exist.  With jokes both old and new about sex, husbands, family and weight issues, these lewd and lascivious ladies prove that the stuff cracking-up Bubby and Zayde in the schtetl is still pretty darn funny.  The live performance, which is peppered with vintage footage of the original queens of comedy, enables these proud princesses to share the stage with their royal forbears."

The J.A.P. Show, Jewish American Princesses of Comedy is directed by Dan Fields and written by Cory Kahaney.  Lighting design is by Jeff Croiter, scenic design is by Jo Winiarski, and projection design is by Aaron Rhyne.

Playing at The Actors Temple Theatre (339 West 47th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).  Tickets are $49.50 – $65, and can be purchased through Telecharge by calling 212-239-6200, or online at www.Telecharge.com
