Broadway Records and 54 BELOW announced today that they have joined in partnership to create a series of albums recorded live at the brand new venue, 54 BELOW, located just steps away from the heart of Times Square. The album series will kick off with Patti LuPone and Andrea McArdle's recordings to be released on December 11th, 2012 and Norbert Leo Butz's recording due on January 15th, 2013. Patti LuPone's album will be produced by six-time Grammy nominee, Robert Sher, who previously worked with Patti on the Gypsy 2008 Broadway Cast Recording. The Andrea McArdle and Norbert Leo Butz albums will be produced by Aaron Ankrum, who worked with Broadway Records on Laura Osnes' "Dream A Little Dream" album. All three albums will be executive produced by Van Dean and Kenny Howard, of The Broadway Consortium, and Ken Mahoney. (more...)

Limited standing room tickets will be available for purchase only at the box office of the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) on a same-day, rush basis and will be priced at $37 each, with a limit of two per person.
