Prospect Theater Company (Cara Reichel, Producing Artistic Director / Melissa Huber, Managing Director) presents its annual gala, 2012's Spring Soirée, in the Harbor View Room at Battery Gardens in Battery Park. This special one-night-only event will be held on Monday, May 21 with an 8 pm concert performance, to feature performances by Broadway friends as well as Prospect stars.

In anticipation of Prospect's upcoming July production of Cole Porter's NYMPH ERRANT, the evening's program will feature songs by Cole Porter as well as 2011 Cole Porter Award recipient and Prospect founding member Peter Mills, and other selections from Prospect's decade-long repertoire of new musicals.

Currently scheduled to appear are: four-time Tony Award-nominee Gregg Edelman (City of Angels, Anna Karenina, 1776, Into the Woods), Tony Award-nominee Melissa Errico (Anna Karenina, High Society, My Fair Lady), Randy Graff (Les Miserables, City of Angels, High Society, A Class Act),
Ann Harada (Avenue Q, 9 to 5, The Kid), and Alex Wyse (Lysistrata Jones).

Prospect is also pleased to welcome back members of its 2012 cast of Myths and Hymns:
Ally Bonino, Donell James Foreman, Anika Larsen, Lucas Steele, and two-time Tony Award nominee Bob Stillman -for an encore performance!

Additional Prospect members performing include Jennifer Blood (Cole Porter's NYMPH ERRANT, Tock Tick, The Flood), Andrew Brewer (Cole Porter's NYMPH ERRANT), David Perlman (Broadway's Baby It's You, Iron Curtain, Once Upon a Time in New Jersey), Robby Sharpe (Iron Curtain, Tock Tick, The Pursuit of Persephone), Courter Simmons (Broadway's Jersey Boys, Illyria, The Pursuit of Persephone), and more!

Battery Gardens is located inside New York City's Battery Park (opposite 17 State Street): www.BatteryGardens.com. Tickets to the concert and after-party portion of the evening (performance begins at 8pm) are $125, and may be obtained through online purchase at www.ProspectTheater.org or by calling 212-352-3101. A portion of the cost of each ticket is tax-deductible. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Prospect's mission to develop and produce new American musical theater works.

6:45pm ~ Seated Three-Course Dinner
8:00pm ~ Cabaret Performance
9:15 – 10:30p ~ After-Party with Open Bar & Hors D'oeuvres
Guests attending the performance and after-party only are invited to arrive between 7:30 – 8p.

Performance and post-show reception only:
$125 per ticket – Includes Seating for Performance and post-show reception with light hors d'oeuvres and open bar. ($75 per ticket tax deductible. Dinner not included.)
