Gia McGlone Joins Cast of FOR LOVERS ONLY 7/20 At New World Stages

Gia McGlone will join the cast of the new hit Off-Broadway musical "FOR LOVERS ONLY (Love Songs...Nothing But Love Songs)" this Monday, July 20th at New World Stages.

McGlone will be replacing Monica L. Patton. Rounding out the five-member cast are Glenn Seven Allen, Dominique Plaisant, Trisha Rapier, and Kevin Vortmann.

"FOR LOVERS ONLY" opened on May 11th to glowing reviews, led by the Associated Press who exclaimed, "This musical cavalcade is a lot of fun, reminding the audience that 'Love is a Many-Splendored Thing'!" Conceived by Nancy Friday, "FOR LOVERS ONLY" presents a dazzling array of love songs from pop to Puccini, from Broadway and around the world, interspersed through a fast-paced evening, directed and choreographed by Christopher Scott, with musical direction by Ken Lundie.

Gia McGlone appeared in "BlackfootNotes" in the 2008 New York Musical Theatre Festival(NYMF). Her tours and regional credits include "Aida," "Beehive," "Little Shop of Horrors," and "Dora the Explorer Live."

Performances of "FOR LOVERS ONLY" are Monday evenings at 8 p.m. Tickets
