Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw, under the leadership of Artistic Director David Staller, announces its 2016 Season to be presented at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre (2537 Broadway at 95th Street).

The 2016 Project Shaw Season will include In Good King Charles's Golden Days (January 11), The Man of Destiny (February 15), The Fascination Foundling (April 25), Caesar and Cleopatra (May 23), Geneva (June 20), The Apple Cart (July 25), Harley Granville-Barker's Farewell to the Theatre (September 19), On The Rocks (October 24), J.M. Barrie's Alice Sit-By-The-Fire (November 21), and Androcles and the Lion (December 19).

"We're very much looking forward to revisiting some of our favorite Shaw comedies as well as continuing our branching out with other playwrights, as well," says Staller. "In addition to presenting Shaw, we're in our third year of offering plays by those writers who most influenced Shaw's decision to leave his life as a critic and dive into the playwriting pool. We've already brought Chekhov, Wilde and Ibsen to the Project. This year, rarely seen plays by Harley Granville-Barker and James M. Barrie."

Tickets are $35 and are available by calling (212) 864-5400 or online at www.symphonyspace.org. This year, GTG/Project Shaw will offer the opportunity for patrons to purchase reserved seats by phoning the Gingold Theatrical Group's office at 212-355-7823.

Now celebrating its 10th year, Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw made history in December 2009 as the first company ever to present performances of every one of Shaw's 65 plays (including full-length works, one-acts and sketches). The 2015 season continues on Nov. 23 with Shaw's magical 'Irish play', John Bull's Other Island, and on Dec. 21 with The Shewing-Up of Blanco Posnet (Shaw's cowboy play about the old American West -- for Christmas!).

Gingold Theatrical Group's Shaw New York 2016 feature production will be Shaw's Widowers' Houses, a co-production with TACT/The Actors Company Theatre from March 1 - April 2, 2016 at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre, directed by David Staller. Tickets now on sale at Telecharge.

Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre space is completely disabled accessible. Symphony Space is located in Manhattan at 2537 Broadway (at 95th Street).
