On Que Entertainment and Pluto Productions have announced a panel of seven celebrity judgeswill take part in the premiere of SCENE IT! New York on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the JerryOrbach Theater (210 W. 50 th St.).

Adam Sank from NBC's "Last Comic Standing" will host this onenight only theater competition which will include as judges: Maria Di Dia (Blue Man Group), DonnaDrake (Things As They Are, A Chorus Line), Rick Elice (Jersey Boys, The Adams Family), RichardHester (Jersey Boys), Maurice Hines (Hot Feet, Sophisticated Ladies), Tom Kosis (Mary Poppins, ByeBye Birdie), and Ariadne C. Villarreal (A Team Events Management). Show time is 7:30pm.

SCENE IT! New York will feature nine scenes, from the newest musicals; written by aspiringcomposers, lyricists and librettists. The panel of seven judges will adjudicate each scene based on tendifferent categories and will ultimately chose one "SCENE" to be named winner and take home a $500 grant for further development of their musical as well as the SCENE IT! New York trophy.

The spirit of the competition is to foster the growth of new talent by providing an opportunity for industry insiders, as wellas the general public, the chance to see and hear Tomorrow's Theater, Today!The list of recently announced scenes include "Runaway Love" from The New Musical; "I finallyget it" from Goin' South; "Second Thoughts" from What If...?; "Oobalee Boobalees" from Fellow; "The Letters" from The Man In The Iron Mask; "Living in NYC" from The New Musical; "Central Park" from Pigeons: A Musical Fable of New York; "A Taste of M2L" from More To Love; "How I lost my V-card"from Dammit Danielle.

The creative team behind SCENE IT! New York features lighting design by Susan Nicholson, Production Stage Manager is Jennifer Rogers, Graphic design by Robert Piper, Artistic Director is RyanBlanchard, and General Manager is Michael T. Clarkston. SCENE IT! New York is produced by On Que Entertainment and Pluto Productions.

The Jerry Orbach Theater (Snapple Theater Center) is located at 210 West 50th St. and currentlyis home to the Off-Broadway productions of The Fantasticks and Perfect Crime.

Ticket prices for SCENEIT! New York are $20 for general admission and $35 for VIP tickets which includes reserved seating andthe exclusive VIP reception immediately following the performance where you will have the opportunity tomeet the artists and judges.
