Applying the model that accelerates technology start-ups, THE Apples and Oranges STUDIOS THEatre ACCELERATOR treats storytellers as founders and creates an opportunity for participants to interact with professionals in storytelling, production, distribution, and mentors in the business of show business.

Phase one of the three-part program focuses on identifying audience fit, cultivation, branding and an understanding of market potential in relation to the story. The virtual program runs online in partnership with Zoom from February 6th through February 17th and includes a mix of group discussions, assignments, lectures and presentations from experts in the entertainment, technology and investment arenas.

At the completion of Phase One, select teams receive an invitation receive an invitation to participate in Phase Two, a residential program in partnership with the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida, applying the work begun to advanced creative development.

Phase one participants include new and experienced writers and composers from Los Angeles, California to Barcelona, Spain and everywhere in between.

- POSSESSION: THE LEGEND OF EL ROJO (book, music and lyrics by Mark Governor, book by Janet Roston, music by Marc Sambola)

- SOUTH OF MARKET: THE MUSICAL (book by Pat Blute and Sam O'Keefe, music and lyrics by Tareq Abuissa)

- SPANDEX: A NEW MUSICAL FOR ALL BODY TYPES (book, music and lyrics by Daniel Levin, Music by Julian Blackmore)
