Company XIV, a Black Book Magazine ‘Icon Of The Future', presents an Apple Triptych featuring the World Premiere of their family holiday show Snow White, a revival of Le Serpent Rouge and a revival of The Judgment of Paris. All three dance-theater shows are conceived, directed and choreographed by Austin McCormick, with adapted text also by McCormick. The shows run from December 3, 2009 to January 17, 2010 in a limited 7-week engagement at the company's home space at 303 Bond St. (between Union & Sackett) in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. Previews begin December 3 and openings begin December 10.

Company XIV's version of Snow White is a baroque infused show for all ages inspired by the Brothers' Grimm version of the fairy tale. Just in time for the holiday season, the lavish production features opera, dance, puppetry and fun for the entire family. The baroque opera trio Charities joins the cast, providing haunting and beautiful arias by Handel and Bellini as well as Yiddish folk songs and original compositions. Appropriate for all ages. Running time is 1 hour.

In the sensual and sumptuous Le Serpent Rouge, Company XIV enacts the story of Adam, Eve and the fall of man as only Austin McCormick and his multi-talented troupe can; humorous, heartbreaking and extravagantly decadent. Fusing dance, theater, music and visual art, Le Serpent Rouge draws inspiration from Jean Cocteau's one act play Le Bel Indifferent and has an eclectic musical score. Mature content - no one under 17 admitted. Running time is 75 minutes with no intermission.

Inspired by the Greek myth "The Judgment of Paris", in which the first ever beauty contest occurred, and informed by the stage directions of the Baroque Opera, The Judgment of Paris (by John Weaver), Company XIV tells an epic story of lust, love, and tragedy, illustrating the events that lead to Paris' fateful decision to award Aphrodite the golden apple in exchange for Helen of Troy. The show fuses theater, dance, music, naughty cabaret and can-can and was a 2008 Edinburgh ‘Pick of the Fringe' winner. Mature content - no one under 17 admitted. Running time is 75 minutes with no intermission.

The performance schedule is as follows:
