Christopher Fitzgerald Set for Williamstown Theatre Festival's Gala, 11/15

Christopher Fitzgerldand will join many other previoiusly announced Broadway stars for Williamstown Theatre Festival's Gala.  The event will be hosted by Lewis Black and held at the Prince George Ballroom on November 15. The evening of events will feature excerpts from Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, the Jeff Buckley musical The Last Goodbye and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.

Other confirmed guests include:  Nick Blaemire, Celina Carvajal, Bryce Pinkham, and David Turner, Damon Daunno, Justin Levine, Dylan Baker, Kellys Collins, Damon Daunno, Katie Finneran, Michael Friedman, Victor Garber, Jessica Hecht, Joe Mantello, Nicholas Martin, and Benjamin Walker.

Fitzgerald is perhaps bestknown for his role as Boq in the musical Wicked and his role of Igor in Young Frankenstein, for which he earned Outer Critics Circle Award, Drama Desk Award, and Tony Award nominations. He recently played Og in the Broadway revival of Finian's Rainbow at the St. James Theatre. He most recently starred as Pseudolus in an all-male production of Stephen Sondheim's A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum in his tenth season with the Williamstown Theatre Festival. The sold-out show closed on July 11th, 2010.
