Cate Ryan's IN THE SECRET SEA Begins Tonight at The Beckett Theatre on Theatre Row

Performances begin tonight for In The Secret Sea, a new American play by Cate Ryan (The Picture Box) and directed by Tony Award© winner Martin Charnin (Annie). The five-week-only limited engagement is set to open Thursday, April 21 at The Beckett Theatre on Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

The cast of In The Secret Sea features Shelly Burch (original company of Nine, "One Life to Live"), Paul Carlin (Temporal Powers at the Mint), Malachy Cleary (The Field at Irish Repertory Theatre), Glynnis O'Connor (TV's Our Town, "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble"), and Adam Petherbridge (Da at Irish Repertory Theatre).

In the play, a newly married couple and their parents confront a life and death decision. The outcome will change all of their lives forever.

The creative team includes Beowulf Boritt and Alexis Distler (scenic design), Ken Billington (lighting design), and Suzy Benzinger (costume design). In The Secret Sea is produced by Wellington Road, LLC.

Tickets for all performances are $75 (including a $1.25 facility fee), with premium seating available for $99, and are available at www.telecharge.com, by calling 212-239-6200, or in person at the Theatre Row Box Office (410 West 42nd Street) Monday through Saturday from noon - 6:00PM and Sunday from noon - 3:00PM.

In The Secret Sea plays Tuesdays at 7PM; Wednesdays-Saturdays at 8PM; matinees on Saturdays at 2PM and Sundays at 3PM. Please note that there will be no matinee on Saturday, April 16.
