Cast Set for Triumvirate Artists' DELIRIUM'S DAUGHTERS, Opening Off-Broadway Next Month

Triumvirate Artists is pleased to announce the World Premiere of Delirium's Daughters, a new and refreshing take on Commedia Dell'Arte by Nicholas Korn (Stage First Cincinnati), directed by Kathleen Butler (Originated roles in Edward Albee's Three Tall Women, Occupant and Marriage Play). Delirium's Daughters will play a three week limited engagement at The Studio Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, Manhattan). Performances begin Thursday, February 26th and continue through Saturday, March 14th. Opening Night is Saturday, February 28th at 8 p.m.

Press performances are Thursday, February 26th at 8pm; Friday, February 27th at 8pm, and opening night Saturday, February 28th at 8pm (plus any subsequent performance).

4 suitors, 3 daughters, what's a father to do? A kind old gentleman believes his deceased wife has forbid their three daughters to marry, until one of the suitors plays a series of tricks that helps him deal with his loss and recover his sanity. A kindhearted farce based on the Italian Commedia Dell'Arte, with a touch of magical realism.

The productions stars Brandon Beilis* (The Love Game - Indie Spirit Award Winner) as Timidio, Nick Bombicino as Giovio, Kerry Frances* (Fiddler on the Roof National Tour) as Celia, Stephanie Nicole Kelley* as Marina, Jackson Thompson* as Pomposa, Branislav Tomich* (Sonya with Julie Harris and Noises Off with Millicent Martin - Phoenix Theatre Co.) as Di Lirio, Brenda Withers* (The Tempest - Pearl Theatre) as Terresa and Evan Cory Zimmerman* as Serio.

Costume and Prop Design by Jamie Nicole Larson,Lighting Design by Alana Jacoby, Sound Design by Sam Kusnetz and Fight Choreography by Chris Michael Burke. BIOGRAPHIES:

NICHOLAS KORN (Playwright) is an award-winning filmmaker and playwright. His solo film project, Revel's Rivals, received the Best Animated Feature award at the 2012 Louisville International Festival of Film. His stage play, The Antic in Romantic, was a finalist for the 2006 Kaufman and Hart Prize for New American Comedy (sponsored by the Arkansas Repertory Theater). From 1999-2003, he founded and served as Executive Director of Stage First Cincinnati, a classical theater company that presented over 23 productions at the Aronoff Center for the Arts. He also was elected for a two-year term as the president of the League of Cincinnati Theatres. He studied classical performance at The National Shakespeare Conservatory in NYC, and Improv at Second City in Chicago. KATHLEEN BUTLER (Director) while continuing her acting career, she began directing three years ago when invited to direct a production of Marriage Play by Edward Albee at the Theatre Artists Studio in Phoenix, Arizona. Staged Readings: Pound (a play about Ezra Pound), Delirium's Daughters (Players Club), Falling: A Wake with Judith Ivey and Edward Herrmann (Players Club, production pending). She is the Artistic Director of the new Wise Owl Theatre Company dedicated to promoting work for theatre professionals over 55 and is a partner in the production company, Triumvirate Artists. She has participated as a director in the Barrow Group Actor/Director Workshop. As an actress she appeared in the world premiere productions of three of Edward Albee's plays, Three Tall Women (B), Occupant (Louise Nevelson) and Marriage Play (Gillian). Recent NY acting credits include Such Things Happen in Books (Keen Theatre Company), The American Dream (Cherry Lane), Wapato (The Women's Project), The Play About The Baby, Steel Magnolias, Triangles, Lucky Rita, Hiding on the Outside. Over 40 productions in Regional Theatre such as Yale Rep, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Long Wharf, The Alley, Coconut Grove Playhouse, Florida Studio Theatre, Tennessee Rep, Charlotte Rep, and most recently Heartless by Sam Shepard at the Contemporary American Theatre Festival. Original productions of The Shaker Chair (Humana Festival), Everything I Need To Know I Learned in Kindergarten, Last Lists of my Mad Mother, The Middle Passage. Films include A League of Their Own (Dir. Penny Marshall), Thursday (MoMa), Night Curtain (Hong Kong Film Festival) and recently the short film Vision 20/20. TV credits include Mozart in the Jungle, Odd Mom Out, Louie, Law and Order, Kenny The Shark, The Great American Plays Series, As The World Turns, Loving, Search for Tomorrow. She is a graduate of Trinity College and did post-graduate work at Circle in the Square School of Drama and The Master Class in Acting for Working Professionals with the legendary Bobby Lewis. Kathleen is a native of Buffalo, New York.

TRIUMVIRATE ARTISTS was founded by Kathleen Butler, Dan Butler and John Essay. The company is dedicated to producing new plays that will, wherever possible, utilize the talents of gifted theatre professionals over the age of 55: actors, directors, playwrights, stage managers, scenic and costume designers, tech staff et al. Triumvirate Artists will reach out to an aging population by bringing programs and performances to those who can no longer attend theatre.
