There is still time to catch Summer Stock NYC: "A Celebration of the Broadway Musical," starring Broadway luminaries Karen Mason and Colleen Zenk. The captivating CAP21 production received standing ovations at every performance at the Michael Schimmel Center at Pace University. Now its limited run continues at the Sylvia and Danny Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College on Tuesday evening, July 20 at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, July 21 at 6:45; Thursday, July 22 at 7:30; and Friday morning, July 23 at 11 AM. Tickets for this popular entertainment are available at www.CAP21.org and are priced from $15 to $30, to reach the widest possible audience.

Summer Stock NYC: "A Celebration of the Broadway Musical," produced by CAP21 is a 75-minute musical revue celebrating the women of Broadway. The show includes hit songs from classics such as "Mame," "On the Town," "Sweet Charity," "Rent" and "Wicked." In addition to award-winning stars Karen Mason ("Mamma Mia," "Sunset Boulevard") and Colleen Zenk (Daytime Emmy nominated star of "As The World Turns," "Bring Back Birdie") the cast features Carrie Manolakos ("Mamma Mia," National Tour of "Wicked"), Pearl Sun ("Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas"), Dana Steingold (Encores' "Anyone Can Whistle" and National Tour "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee"), Kelly Felthous (National Tour "Grease") and Kelsey Crouch-Pinter ("As The World Turns").

"A Celebration of the Broadway Musical," the debut production of Summer Stock NYC, provides professional musical theatre entertainment that is affordable, while expanding opportunities for the city's vast talent pool of new and established actors, directors and choreographers. Next year, Summer Stock NYC will present a full-length musical that will tour the five boroughs of New York City.

"Bringing summer stock to the city allows us to share the joys of musical theatre with new audiences while providing artists--at various levels--opportunities to collaborate, experiment and grow," said Frank Ventura, Executive Artistic Director of CAP21.
