Richard Stevens presents two staged readings of Stephen Calmson's new play GOOD PEOPLE on Wednesday April 21 (4-6pm) and Thursday April 22 (5-7pm) at St. Luke's Theatre (308 W. 46th St.).

On a bright, sunny July Sunday in 1998, two upscale "boomer" couples are spending a pleasant weekend together in Connecticut. They are suddenly joined by another couple - uninvited and out-of-place - who have information that will drastically alter the lives of all concerned.

Stan Mazin directs the cast comprised of Becky Ann Baker (All My Sons, Assassins, A Streetcar Named Desire), Stephen Bogardus (White Christmas, Love! Valor! Compassion!, Falsettos), Richard Cottrell (Crimes of the Heart, Roundabout's All Over), Charlotte d'Amboise (A Chorus Line, Sweet Charity, Jerome Robbins' Broadway), Maria Deasy (Roundabout's The Crucible, A Night in the Kremlin, 11 Minutes in Macys) and Gregg Edelman (Into the Woods, 1776, City of Angels). Richard Stevens produces, and Richard Sutton is the general manager.
