Peter and the Starcatcher is now underway at New York Theatre Workshop, with the team of writer Rick Elice and directors Roger Rees and Alex Timbers bringing the story of Peter Pan, before Neverland, to the stage.  Based upon the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, this production stars Adam Chanler-Berat, Christian Borle and Celia Keenan-Bolger.

Based upon the 2004 novel, Peter and the Starcatchers, which is essentially a prequel to Peter Pan, this stage production was last seen at the La Jolla Playhouse in 2009, featuring many of the same cast members, including Borle and Kennan-Bolger, with Chanler-Berat being the latest edition to this popular story.

BroawayWorld's own James Sims recently sat down with Chanler-Berat and Keenan-Bolger to discuss the origin of 'Peter and the Starcatcher' and how each of the actors approach such a well-known character and fantasy in a completely different way.

Peter and the Starcatcher is now playing at New York Theatre Workshop, 79 East 4th Street, between Second Avenue and Bowery.  The regular performance schedule is Tuesday at 7:00pm; Wednesday through Friday at 8:00pm; Saturday at 3:00pm and 8:00pm; Sunday at 2:00pm and 7:00pm. There will be a special matinee on Wednesday, March 23 at 2pm. The limited engagement is currently scheduled to run through Sunday, April 3, 2011. Tickets are $70 and may be purchased online at www.ticketcentral.com, 24 hours a day, seven days a week or by phoning Ticket Central at 212 279-4200.
