BUYER & CELLAR with Michael Urie Celebrates 200th Performance Off-Broadway Today
The hit comedy Buyer & Cellar will play its 200th performance at the Barrow Street Theatre today, December 15, at 7:30pm. The production, which recouped its initial investment faster than any off-Broadway show in recent memory, continues to break box office records.
Michael Urie, who received the Drama Desk and Clarence Derwent awards for his acclaimed performance, is set to reprise his role next year in Chicago (April 29 - May 25) and Los Angeles (July 9 - August 17).
Buyer & Cellar had its world premiere in April 2013 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, where it received rave reviews and played a sold-out, extended run before transferring to the Barrow Street Theatre where it opened June 24, 2013.
