59E59 Theaters' 2010 EAST TO EDINBURGH FESTIVAL Ends

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer) announces the 2010 line up for the 7th annual EAST TO EDINBURGH festival, taking place from Tuesday, July 13 through Sunday, August 1 at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). The performance schedule varies. Tickets to the EAST TO EDINBURGH shows range from $10 - $20 ($7 - $15.50 for 59E59 Members). Each July, 59E59 Theaters becomes the Edinburgh outpost right here in New York, hosting shows by US theater companies who are headed across the Pond to take part in the world's largest cultural extravaganza, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. 59E59 Theaters is proud to host numerous provocative, outrageous, hilarious, infuriating and always innovative productions each year before they journey across the Atlantic!

Created as a way to help shows get on their feet before flying off to Scotland, EAST TO EDINBURGH simulates the same production constraints that all shows experience during the Festival, while giving them a clean, comfortable and nurturing space to fine-tune their productions. This whirlwind festival reflects some of the most adventurous theater from across the United States.
