Tonight, July 12th, Broadway Sessions welcomes casts and performances from new works being featured in The New York Musical Theater Festival.

The evening will feature performances from Flambe' Dreams, 6, Prison Dancer, Trouble, Stand Tall, Zapata!, Ari Gold's Bshert, Shelter, Swing State, Stealing Time and The Groove Factory. For more schedules and more information on the featured productions please visit www.nymf.org.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. Audience members will have the opportunity to win tickets to NYMF shows and more. Open Mic party follows the show til 2 am.

Every Thursday night, as the curtains fall on Broadway, Host BEN D (from Broadway's Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and his crew of amazingly talented folks welcome a new Broadway star to perform in this fun and zany musical theater variety show. Get up close and personal with Broadway's brightest as the stars bare their souls, interact with the crowd and celebrate all things Broadway.

Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Café located at 407 west 42nd street (corner of 42nd street and 9th avenue). 212-695-6909. Doors open at 10:30 pm with showtime at 11pm and musical theater open mic party goes til 2 am. $5 drink & shot specials all night. There is a $5 cover which includes a donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids plus a $15 food and/or beverage minimum per person.
