Due to popular demand, the New York Musical Theater Festival has announced that Boys Will Be Boys - An OUT-rageous Musical Revue will get an extended run with an added show on July 26 at 5:30pm. A hilarious musical comedy centered on a disastrous charity revue, the NYMF production begins its run on July 17 at The Pershing Square Signature Center Studio Theatre and is an updated version of the show that has played to critical acclaim around the country. (The Chicago Tribune called it "a major hit!").

In the twisted world of Boys Will Be Boys, Ishmael Gonzalez suffers from Gay Attention Deficit Disorder, a condition that renders some gay men unable to stay focused on any trend for more than a few weeks. Before you can say "Barney's Warehouse Sale," Ishmael's friends rush to the rescue with a charity "fun-raiser" to help Gay-D.D. sufferers. During their comically disastrous musical revue, the friends expose themselves and their views on loves won and lost (and borrowed!). Featuring book and lyrics by Joe Miloscia and music by Kenneth Kacmar, the NYMF production will be directed/choreographed by Joe Barros with music direction by Alex LeFevre. The cast will feature Courtney Cowart, Jeremy Pasha, Ryan Speakman, Seph Stanek and Rance Wright.

Boys Will Be Boys played to packed houses when it originally premiered in NYC. The show was hailed for being ""Hilarious. Naughty. Incredibly witty." "Some of the funniest writing on any New York stage" (NEXT Magazine). Peter Filichia of TheaterMania raved, "Miloscia and Kacmar are truly gifted writers. Their song 'Giant' is one of the best I've heard by anyone all year." Since then, the show was a hit in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Portland.

In addition to Boys Will Be Boys, writers Miloscia and Kacmar have penned the musical If The Shoe Fits ("Director's Choice" Award, National Music Theatre Network, which played at the Lion Theatre, NYC, and the Cleveland Play House). Miloscia and Kacmar have also written songs for various revues, cabarets and solo performances, including High Hair and Jalapenos!, Breakthrough, and Roadkill, as well as the award-winning educational video "Even You" ("Telly Award" & "Videographers Award of Excellence").

Boys Will Be Boys will play at The Pershing Square Signature Center Studio Theatre (480 West 42nd St) on Wed, July 17 at 8:30pm; Thur, July 18 at 1:30pm and5:30pm; Sat, July 20 at 9:30pm; Wed, July 24 at 9:30pm; and Fri, July 26 at 5:30pm.
