(3/31/2015) - Virginia Stage Company (VSC) will present its final show of the season, running tonight, March 31st through April 19th. Breath & Imagination, directed by Saundra McClain is the true and inspirational story of the life and struggles of Roland Hayes, the first African American classical vocalist of world renown. VSC's production will feature Travis Pratt, who appeared on season 8 of America's Got Talent, in the role of Hayes, and marks the first time a true tenor has portrayed this role. The show features operatic, classical and spiritual music.

(3/16/2015) - The life and times of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Willa Cather are explored in the show, "Call Me William: The Life and Loves of Willa Cather" by Prudence Wright Holmes. Holmes, who also stars in the production, will perform the show at The Alden in McLean at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 19. Tickets are $20 for the general public and $15 for McLean tax district residents. The theatre is located inside the McLean Community Center at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.
