Synetic Theater will close its season with the popular, Helen Hayes Award-winning play A Midsummer Night's Dream. Spearheaded by Director Paata Tsikurishvili, Synetic masterfully brings back to audiences their highly lauded rendition of the classic play, utilizing dance, acrobatics, and mime creating a fun and relatable adaptation to Shakespeare's timeless comedy. The limited four-week remount runs July 15 through August 9, 2015.

In this fanciful production, Synetic's A Midsummer Night's Dream incorporates all the traditional aspects of a Shakespeare romantic comedy, including multiple love stories, surprising plot twists, and a wedding. Yet what makes Synetic's production especially unique is the fact that this busy plot is clearly relayed to audiences in silence. With Synetic's trademark use of movement and connected theatrical expression A Midsummer Night's Dream, is beautifully re-imagined and will leave audiences feeling as fantastic as the characters in the summer fantasy world.

Founded in 2001 by the husband and wife team of Paata and Irina Tsikurishvili, Synetic Theater is the region's premier contemporary theater fusing dynamic art forms-such as drama, text, movement, acrobatics, dance, film, and original music. Synetic has received a total of 92 Helen Hayes Award nominations and 24 Awards for directing, choreography, acting, costume design, and best play.
