Take a mystical journey to ancient China in this action-packed stage adaptation of Disney's animated film. Based on Disney's Oscar-nominated film, Disney's Mulan JR. is a heartwarming celebration of culture, honor and the fighting spirit. With hit songs and a story packed with action, humor and heart, Disney's Mulan JR. brings ancient China to life with a modern sensibility.
The Huns have invaded, and it is up to the misfit Mulan and her mischievous dragon sidekick, Mushu, to save the Emperor! Defying the village matchmaker, Mulan takes up arms and disguises herself as a boy in order to spare her father from having to serve in the army. As the great battle with the Huns approaches, Mulan must choose between revealing her true identity as a girl or saving all of China with her clever plan.

The Carrington Gallery at the theatre has been transformed into the Virginia Christmas Museum featuring exhibits of Christmas decorations from 1947, when the Historic North first opened, to the end of the 20th Century. Have fun and relive your holiday memories of your youth and share them with your children and grandchildren. Experience the joy of seasons past and see one of the largest collections of Nativities on the east coast, learn how Coca Cola changed Santa, Hollywood and Christmas-both TV and Film, hear music favorites on an old 1950 Admiral record player and even vote for your favorite Ugly Christmas Sweater. Two of the six rooms of the theatre's Celebrity Bed & Breakfast, The Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe rooms will be decorated for the holidays and be on the tour.

Comedy Hypnotist Gary Conrad special Christmas Show Fri., Dec. 9., 2016-7:30 PM TICKETS $20.00-15.00 In this Christmas Show, volunteers enter the hypnotic state on stage and then transform into: a Christmas angel, sugar plum fairies, elves, Mr. Scrooge, The Grinch, Frosty the Snowman, or a gingerbread man. There's lots of caroling and dancing... and participants may even get to visit Santa Claus! The volunteers have a wonderful time entertaining with style, propriety, panache, and lots of costumes, props, and Holiday music!

Magic of Christmas Stage Illusion Show Spectacular Saturdays-Dec. 3, 10, 17 at 7:30 PM and Tuesdays for special matinees for tour groups on Dec. 6, 13 and 27 at 2:00 PM. There will be a special show on Friday, Dec. 23 at 7:30 PM. Tickets $20.00 & $15.00 adults & $10.00 children 12 & under.
