ANNOUNCING A NON-UNION, OPEN CALL, DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP of a New, Original Drama
“The Kentucky Tragedy”
Auditions: Thursday, April 28, 2 PM to 6 PM, & Friday, April 29, 2 PM to 6 PM.
Location: Magnet Training Center
22 West 32 St. 10 Fl. NYC
Multi-Racial Casting. All ethnicities welcome. Excellent parts for Performers of Color. There will be a paid stipend of $200.00(Two Hundred Dollars) for the three weeks of Rehearsal, with a Performance in the Magnet Studio Theater on May 20, 22 West 32 Street.

CAST BREAKDOWN:

Anne Cooke: 25-40. Leading Lady. Stately, refined. Betrayed by her suitor, she seeks solitude, redemption, and revenge. (Caucasian).
Ellen Reardon: 25-40. (Actress of Color.) Leading Lady. Confident and loyal. closest friend to Anne Cooke, as well as her critic.
Jerry Beauchamp: 22-30. Young Leading Man. Stable, Self-sacrificing. hail fellow, well met.
John Pope: 30-45. Leading Man. Defense Attorney. Caucasian. Self assured. Firm but calm temperament.
Charles Bibb: 25-40. Prosecuting Attorney. Eager, skilled, ambitious. At his best in the center of a crisis. (Actor of Color.)
Nathaniel Whitman: 22-40. Homestead foreman. Steady & generous. (Actor of Color.)
Eliza Sharp: 22-40. Wife and Mother. Bright, aristocratic.
Petita San Gens: 18-25. (Actress of Color.) Wiser than her years. Speaks truth to the powerless.
