Where:
- Courtyard by Marriott, San Diego Central - 8651 Spectrum Center Blvd., San Diego CA 92123
-Please check in at the front desk on which room The Dinner Detective Auditions are in.
When:
- Those auditioning will be seen in a groups on the date they select; either Friday, September 12th at 6PM or on Saturday, September 13th at 11AM.
- Do your best to be on time but if you are running late please still do stop in, we'll still see you, or drop in to the next time slot
- Those auditioning should expect to stay for 2 hours but could be released sooner.
- Those hired will be notified the day of audition, at the close of the audition.
- Those hired will be eligible for work on 9/27 in one of two shows we have scheduled for that date.
- Call times for shows on 9/27 are 3:30 & 4:15. Availability for this date WILL NOT determine if you are hired as a company cast member, as we are seeking company members for our 2014/15 season and on-going.
Seeking:
- Actors ages 18-55, for hire as company cast members.
- Shows are ongoing, most Saturday nights, only 9 company members are needed for one show.
-Actors are scheduled according to their availability, collected each month.
-Actors with improv experience are a plus.
What:
-Interactive, Improv Murder Mystery Dinner Show set in modern day with no costumes and no serving required.
-Show performs Saturday nights and some weekdays subject to actor availability.
-Time commitment for regular shows is 4-6 hours including a pre-show rehearsal.
-No weekly rehearsals required, you rehears only when you are scheduled to work.
-Weekly show location is at the Courtyard by Marriott - Central San Diego
-Private shows booked all over San Diego County, travel stipends are added when locations are more than 20 miles from the Courtyard Marriott location.
- Casting rotates depending on actor availability collected & scheduled on a 1 month basis.
Audition:
- 2 hours, audition consisting of improv games.
Requirement:
-Hard copy of head shot or recent picture, quality is not a concern provided we have something to remember you by.
-Resumes are also needed no matter your level of experience; all levels are welcome to audition.
Pay: Pay ranges from $50-$110 plus meal and tips, pending role. Roles rotate each show.
