Seeking submissions for R.Evolución Latina's Beyond Workshop Series, a 2-week, tuition-FREE, professional performing arts intensive with some of New York’s finest from Broadway, film and TV.
Participants will take 2-4 classes a day in:
Dance (ballet, jazz, theatre dance, contemporary, and more)
Acting (Shakespeare, scene work, monologues, and voice)
Voice (song interpretation, ensemble, and musical theatre audition preparation)
Past teachers include Marcos Santana (associate choreographer of "Rocky"), Ian Hersey (The Public), Rickey Tripp ("Motown"), Rosie Lani Fiedelman ("In the Heights"), William Wade (composer of "Imaginocean"), and more.
Auditions will be held in NYC on February 16, 2014.
Possible callbacks on February 23, 2014.
The Workshop will run in NYC in the Spring.
Audition Requirements:
16 Bars of a song, 1 Shakespeare monologue, and be ready to dance. We know everyone will have varying levels of experience!
Seeking – Artists who are looking to further develop their skills and reconnect with their community are encouraged to apply, particularly Latinos.
