Stratford May 27, 9-5 CT Free Shakespeare Auditions for local Equity and Non-Equity Actors in Connecticut at The Sterling House Community Center, 2283 Main Street in Stratford CT. A one- minute monologue from “Taming of the Shrew” is preferred or any comedic monologue. Rehearsals begin on August 2 and performances are August 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 outdoors under the stars at The American Shakespeare Theater, Elm St., Stratford. Rehearsals are 6 full days a week with Mondays off. $350 a week for Equity actors and EMC points for non-equity actors. Some EMC’s will be selected to understudy principal roles. 203-232-8805.
