AUDITION NOTICE:
The Rose To Host Auditions For
2014-2015 Season May 4-5
The Rose Theater will host an audition for all adult roles in its
2014-2015 productions by appointment on Sunday, May 4 at 6 pm and Monday, May 5
at 6 pm. Adult actors of all types are welcome to audition and must come to The Rose
Theater, 2001 Farnam Street. Performers can prepare a monologue or conduct cold
readings from scripts in next season. Singers should be ready to perform at least 16 bars
of a song. An accompanist will be provided.
Adult actors are being given an opportunity to skip future open calls for each show
in the 2014-2015 season if they audition on May 4 or May 5. The Rose will callback actors
based on availability and appropriateness for specific productions. Most productions involve
daytime rehearsals and performances, but at least two do not. Four shows in the 2014-2015
season will have evening rehearsals to maximize actor availability. Preliminary rehearsal
schedules for all productions will be available at the season auditions. This is a paid position
for adult actors. Minority actors are needed for lead roles. Roles are available for adult actors
of all ages and genders. Youth auditions will be held on a show by show basis.
