THE GOOD DOCTOR - The Middlebury Community Players

Auditions for THE GOOD DOCTOR Sept. 2-3

The Middlebury Community Players will stage The Good Doctor at the Town Hall Theater in Middlebury in November. Neil Simon’s The Good Doctor is a delightful parody of the works of Chekhov. The play is a series of ten short, independent scenes set in turn-of-the-century Russia.

The cast calls for between 5 to 25 men and women ranging from ages 14 through 80. This is a great play for adults new or returning to theater to get on stage. Never auditioned before? No worries, the team will walk you through the process.

Please come to auditions prepared to read from the script. Perusal scripts are available at the Town Hall Theater Box Office (382-9222, Monday – Saturday, noon to 5pm). For a description of the play and a scene/character list, visit
www.middleburycommunityplayers.org.

Auditions will be held Wednesday and Thursday, September 2 and 3, at 6:00 p.m., at the Town Hall Theater in Middlebury (68 South Pleasant Street 05753). Register by 6:15pm. If you are unable to make either audition date, please contact producer or director to schedule another audition time (contact info below).

Directed by Kathleen Walls, produced by JoAnn Brewer. Rehearsals will begin Tuesday, September 8, 2015. The Good Doctor will be presented November 5-8, 2015, at Town Hall Theater.
