As spring approaches, The Contemporary Theater Company is already gearing up for its summer season! The company holds open auditions for all of its shows, and is dedicated to showcasing local actors. Auditions for the season will be held in the theater’s rehearsal space at 321 Main Street in Wakefield on April 1 from 1:30 pm – 7 pm and April 3 from 4:30 pm – 8 pm.
The Contemporary Theater Company is holding auditions for Accidental Death of an Anarchist, a political farce by Dario Fo, directed by Christopher Simpson and Ouardane Joannot, and One Man, Two Guvnors, a farce by Richard Bean based on the classic Servant of Two Masters. The auditions will also be for Shakespeare on the Saugatucket, which will be performed on the outdoor performance patio, featuring All’s Well That Ends Well and Cymbeline. Anyone interested is encouraged to audition! There are no roles for children under 15 at this time.
