STORIES OF LIFE - Dallas Holocaust Museum

STORIES OF LIFE is a twenty-minute dramatic presentation sharing the Holocaust through the lives of teens both past and present. This special adaptation of diary entries and letters of both children who suffered the Holocaust and students learning about it today, will offer revealing insight into the need for tolerance education.

Audition Date: Thursday, October 4th from 4:00-6:00pm Performance Date: Tuesday, October 30th, 2012 from 5:00-8:00pm

Seeking 4 teen actors (2 male, 2 female) to perform at the Dallas Holocaust Museum’s annual Hope for Humanity dinner at the Fairmont Hotel.

ROLES Leo: 14, Intellectual, focused, a thinker; dark hair and eyes. Anna: 12, Leo’s little sister, precocious, sensitive; petite, dark hair and eyes. Michael: 15, A bystander, apathetic, indifferent, laughs at or ignores the pain of others; modern look with light hair and eyes. Emily: 13, Michael’s little sister, a dreamer, awkward, shy with new people; modern look with light hair and eyes.

AUDITION INFO The audition will be held at the Dallas Holocaust Museum offices located at 211 N. Record Street, Dallas, TX 75201. Please park in the pay lot on Record and Ross. Enter the museum building and take the elevator to Level 5. Contact the museum for assistance with directions/parking at (214) 741-7500. ?Please arrive early to peruse the sides.

REHEARSAL There will be a table read the week of October 15th and a rehearsal the week of October 22nd. There will be a dress rehearsal at The Fairmont around 5pm on October 30th.

There is no pay.
