BAY CITY PLAYERS ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS

Sherlock Holmes:

The Final Adventure

adapted by Steven Dietz,

based on the original 1899 play by William Gillette and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Bay City Players will hold auditions for its upcoming production; Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure,adapted by Steven Dietz, based on the original 1899 play by William Gillette and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, on Sunday, March 2nd at 6:00 p.m. and Monday, March 3rd, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Auditions will be held at Bay City Players, 1214 Columbus Avenue, in Bay City. Directed by Susan Ross.

Performance dates are April 25 – 27 & May 1 – 4, 2014. Director, Susan Ross is looking for:

2 women to play early 20's to mid-40’s

8 men to play early 20's to mid-60’s

THE PLOT: Adapted by Steven Dietz and based on the original 1899 play by William Gillette and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Sherlock Holmes has seemingly reached the end of his remarkable
career when a case comes along too tempting to turn down. His final adventure is full of danger, intrigue, wit, humor and surprise!

This mystery/comedy will prove to the audience that “The game is afoot, Watson - and it is a dangerous one!” Winner of the 2007 Edgar Award for Best Mystery Play.

(Ages 10 and up)
