AUDITION NOTICE

Shakespeare in the Park General Auditions

2017 Summer Season:

Quixote

Based on Don Quixote by Miguel Cervantes

Adapted by Octavio Solis

directed by Guest Director Gustavo Tambascio

Rehearsals begin May 9, 2017

Performances are Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesdays from June 21-July 22, 2017

Spanish-speakers and/or singers are encouraged to audition but neither is required for casting. If you are a singer, please prepare 16 bars of a song to sing acapella.

The Merry Wives of Windsor by William Shakespeare

directed by Shakespeare Dallas Executive and Artistic Director Raphael Parry

Rehearsals begin May 9, 2017

Performances are Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from June 14-July 21, 2017

The role of Falstaff has already been cast.

2017 Fall Season:

Titus Andronicus by William Shakespeare

directed by Shakespeare Dallas Artistic Associate René Moreno

Rehearsals begin August 15, 2017

Performances are Wednesdays-Sundays September 20-October-15, 2017

The role of Titus Andronicus has already been cast.

Roles: 3 casts/15 adult roles per show. AEA Guest Artist contracts are available for summer and fall. Non-AEA stipends are available as well.

Audition Dates/Times: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm Saturday, January 21, 2017 & Sunday, January 22, 2017
