SCERA announces July 25-26 auditions for “Nunsense,” the opening show of the 2016-2017 Indoor Season
SCERA Center for the Arts announces that the musical comedy “Nunsense” will open its 2016-2017 Indoor Season.
The show will be directed by Michael Carrasco and play September 16 – October 8 @7:30pm on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Danielle Berry will serve as stage manager.
Auditions will be held on Monday July 25 or Tuesday July 26 from 7-9pm at the SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem. Auditioners 18 and older should prepare 16 bars of an up tempo Broadway song. An accompanist or IPOD playback will be available. Callbacks, for those invited, will be held on July 27.
The show has five roles for women of varying ages, ranging from young to middle-aged to mature women.
New this season, auditions are done by appointment, and you can submit your audition form online and sign up for a time under the Stage tab at
www.scera.org. A resume and headshot is helpful to bring with you, but is not required.
Rehearsals will begin on August 1st and continue Monday-Friday from 7-10pm and Saturdays from 9am-Noon.
