What: Auditions for MISS ABIGAIL’S GUIDE TO DATING, MATING, & MARRIAGE!

Seeking: Actors with strong improvisational and comic skills.

Character Descriptions:

Miss Abigail, female, 40-60
Spirited and endearing. A love expert graciously offering relationship advice since 2005 when the breakup of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston shook the world. Requires excellent comedic and improv skills. Must be comfortable interacting with audience members.

Paco, male, 20-30
Miss Abigail’s sexy, Hispanic assistant. Since he is secretly in love with her, his jealousy is easily triggered, but not so easily hidden. Requires excellent comedic and improv skills. Must be comfortable interacting with audience members.

Requirements/Preparation:

  • Head shot and resume stapled together
  • Completed Audition Application
  • Prepare:
    • One contemporary comedic monologue (1 minute)
  • Please Note:
    • All parts will be on AEA SPT contract. In addition, EMC and non-union members who meet the requested role requirements may audition.
    • No housing, transportation or per diem for out-of-area performers.

Audition Process:

  • Set up a time for your appointment using the audition request
    email. We will reply with your confirmation time back.
  • Download and complete the
    Audition Application along with a typed resume and headshot. You will need to bring these items to your audition appointment.

Since 1946, Pittsburgh CLO has been the driving force behind live musical theater in Pittsburgh and the entire Southwestern Pennsylvania region.
