Hershey Area Playhouse Holds Auditions for Leading Ladies
Hershey Area Playhouse is holding auditions for adults of various ages to fill five male and three female roles for its upcoming production of the comedy Leading Ladies, February 16 and 18 at 7 p.m.
Auditions will take place at the Playhouse and will consist of readings from the script. Callbacks, if needed, will take place on February 18 at 8:30 p.m. The show is being directed by theatre veteran Dr. Jeffrey Cartwright.
Leading Ladies is a comedy with a dash of romance that focuses on two actors fighting to take advantage of a dying woman’s fortune by disguising themselves as women. Obstacles arise when both men find love interests very close to the older woman—including her niece! Performances will be held April 24-27 and May 1-4, 2014 at Hershey Area Playhouse.
