Jesus Christ Superstar is the global phenomenon that has wowed audiences for over 40 years. Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ground-breaking rock musical is loosely based on the Gospels' accounts of the last week of Jesus' life.
Christ's final days are dramatized with emotional intensity, thought-provoking edge and explosive theatricality. Propelled by a stirring score, by turns driving and majestic, satirical and tender, Jesus Christ Superstar illuminates the transcendent power of the human spirit with a passion that goes straight to the heart!
We are seeking strong rock singers-dancer-actors.
All should prepare two contrasting rock musical theatre songs (32 bars each). There will be an accompanist provided.
A performance honorarium is attached to each role.
