Mad Cow Theatre is Accepting Submissions for Claude in Hair
MAD COW THEATRE is accepting submissions for its upcoming production of Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical with lyrics by James Rado & Gerome Ragni and music by Galt MacDermot for the role of Claude. Rehearsals will begin in early May. Production dates are June 6, 2014, through July 6, 2014, with a possible extension. The director is Elena Day with musical direction by Philip King.
Mad Cow Theatre is seeking a professional and charismatic actor with sensational rock/pop vocals for the role of Claude in Hair. Actors should read in their twenties. Interested auditioners please submit a picture and resume for consideration by Monday, March 24, 2014.
Character description of Claude:
Claude (Rock baritone/tenor, twenties): A smart, young hippie who loves life and loves his hair. Claude follows his heart and struggles with his conscience. Tolerant and open, he loves everyone in the Tribe and provides them with an emotional center. He is Berger’s very best friend and is obsessed with Sheila.
