Auditions for two upcoming PTC productions Fences and Women in Jeopardy will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Callbacks will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 by invitation only.
Fences is a Pulitzer and Tony Award winning family drama set in the 1950's. Its part of August Wilson's Pittsburg Cycle a monumental exploration of the African American experience in America.
Women in Jeopardy is the regional premiere comedy from Wendy Macleod. Can three divorced single moms find love and happiness-or at least avoid falling prey to a serial killer-in Salt Lake City and the red rocks of southern Utah?
Rehearsal dates for Fences are December 12 - January 5, 2016; performance dates are January 6 through January 21, 2017. Guest artist Timothy Douglas will direct this production.
Auditions for the child part of Raynell will be posted at a later date.
Rehearsal dates for Women in Jeopardy are January 16 - February 9, 2017; performance dates are February 10 through February 25, 2017. Artistic Director Karen Azenberg will direct this production.
All auditions will be held in Room 245 at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. Each audition slot is three minutes. Sides will be provided. A headshot and resume are recommended.
Auditioners must come in to sign up on the callboard in Room 325 at the Roy W. and Elizabeth E. Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. The sign-up sheet will be posted on October 14, 2016.

Pioneer Theatre Company, Utah's only fully professional theatre, performs at Roy W. and Elizabeth E. Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre, located on the University of Utah campus at 300 South and 1400 East in Salt Lake City, easily accessible by TRAX light rail.
