Announcing Open Call Auditions on July 14th for A Class Act NY Fall Agent and Manager Showcase and Advanced-Level Weekly Acting Classes
A Class Act NY is proud to announce open auditions for its November Agent and Manager Showcase and its full slate of advanced-level fall classes in musical theatre, on-camera, and acting technique.
The Fall Showcase on November 16th is a valuable opportunity for actors ages 4-20 to perform alone in front of a room full of over 20 agents and managers from the top agencies in New York City!
Prominent Broadway and on-camera actors will teach students 7-18 in weekend classes that range in sessions from 5 weeks to 10 weeks that run from September through December. Teachers this session include Ashley Kate Adams (LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT) and Lauren “Coco” Cohn (MAMMA MIA!, BORED TO DEATH).
A Class Act NY is seeking advanced actors interested in musical theatre and on-camera acting for classes including “Finding the Comedy: Sitcom and Commercial Focus, “Lab Series: Internal and External Acting Using Method and Meisner Technique,” “College and Conservatory Audition Prep,” and a “Scene into Song” class! All classes include a final showcase for family, friends, and invited industry guests.
You just need one audition to be considered for any of these unique, valuable programs. Call
212-315-3010 to schedule an audition from 2pm-7pm on Thursday, July 14. Students should prepare a one-minute monologue from a contemporary play, and if you want to be considered for musical theatre programs, a 32-bar cut of an age-appropriate song.
