Full of onstage joy and backstage drama, Dreamgirls is based upon the show business aspirations and successes of R&B acts similar to The Supremes, The Shirelles, James Brown, Jackie Wilson, and others. This musical follows the story of a young Black female singing trio from Chicago, Illinois called "The Dreams", who become music superstars.
Lower Ossington Theatre is seeking men with a range of singing, acting, and dancing skills. This call is open to all ages, and ethnicities.
CASTING THE FOLLOWING SPECIFIC ROLES: (Some performers will be expected to play multiple roles)
Ensemble- Male: singer/dancers/actors to play various supporting roles: All ensemble members should possess unique personalities and have the ability to play a wide variety of characters. Including Male Caucasian ensemble members to play various roles.

Rehearsals are from July 24- September 7th, Performances are from September 8th - November 19th (with possible extension). The weekly performance schedule is 4 shows, Friday through Sunday with two show times on Saturdays.
