Connecticut’s highly acclaimed interactive comedy wedding and murder mystery dinner shows are selecting new cast members. AspenDream Productions is cooking up some dangerously good fun as they kick off their 20th year with shows starting in April 2017 thru December 2017. Roles are open for males and females ages 18-80. All ethnicities are encouraged to audition. Positions are paid. Auditions are Saturday, March 11 and Sunday, March 12 from 12:30 to 3PM in Thomaston.
The shows, which first opened in 1997 to sold-out audiences, aren’t your typical comedic plays. They are hilarious, unique murder mystery farces and the audience members aren't just audience members — they are guests who interact with the notorious Uncle Franco and his mobster family. With the new season underway, everyone in ‘the family’ is working hard to make this a spectacular season to remember! Desperate for a change, there are many in the organization who are willing to do almost anything to increase efficiency and restore peace. But only one who will go too far and commit an act of murder in Don Franco’s neighborhood. Everyone is a suspect, including you!
AspenDream Productions is seeking local Connecticut actors and actresses ages 18 – 80 with outgoing personalities for major roles for on-going productions starting in April 2017. We are seeking men and women ages 18-80 – any ethnicity. People with outgoing personalities are preferred. Improvisational skills and acting experience is helpful. There are also positions for singers. Venues are throughout Connecticut. There are one to four rehearsals per show. This is an excellent opportunity to work with professional actors from the original CT production. This is a non-equity production.
