Cast Aside Productions is holding open auditions for the 2015 season company.
There are 2 different calls for this audition:
Singer Open Call: For performers that identify as singers.
Dancer Open Call : For performers that identify as dancers.
(It is only necessary to attend one call.)
The cast company will perform in 1-4 shows (as well as in special performances and events):
Sunday in the Park with George: Act 1 in Concert at the Masonic Temple – March
The Awesome ‘80s Prom – April
Bat Boy: The Musical – July
Andrew Lippa’s Wild Party – December

WHEN: Register for 1 of 4 possible audition windows…
Wednesday, January 28: 8-10pm (singers that move)
Friday, January 30: 7-10pm (dancers that sing)
Saturday, January 31: 12-3pm (singers that move)
Saturday, January 31: 3-6pm (dancers that sing)
Saturday, February 7: 6-9pm (singers that move and dancers that sing)

Enter Door 4 (next to the freight lock) and enjoy the walk up 3 flights of stairs as part of your warm up. The classroom is to the immediate right of the stairs.
Extensive parking available in front of the building and in neighboring public lots.
DETAILS:
Auditions are actors 16 years old or older. Parents be advised of each show’s content.
Prepare 2 contrasting songs to be performed with an accompanist. Sheet music is required. (No Stephen Sondheim or Jason Robert Brown songs, please.)
Bring dance clothes and shoes. You will be given time to change after your singing audition.
Bring a headshot and resume.
Everyone will be notified of results after casting decisions have been made. Please don’t contact Cast Aside Productions about results.
Cast actors will receive a stipend and the ability to increase their stipend through commission work.
