Announces auditions for

Show Description

The popular board game is now a fun filled musical which brings the world’s best known suspects to life and invites the audience to help solve the mystery. They choose from cards representing the murderers, weapons, and rooms – there are 216 possible solutions! Comic antics, witty lyrics, and a seductive score carry the investigation from room to room.

Audition Requirements

Please be prepared to:

- Sing 16-32 bars of an upbeat song of your choice. Please do NOT sing a song from Clue The Musical.

*You must sing with OUR provided accompaniment or with a CD with NO vocals. NO a cappella auditions will be allowed.

- You may be asked to sing scales by our accompanist.

- Complete a dance audition, taught by the show choreographer (dress appropriately)

- Be prepared to fill out a conflict sheet* at auditions (be as specific as possible about conflicts)

*Make sure you have your schedule with you and can commit to the performance schedule before committing to the show*

Please make sure you can fully commit to the schedules before auditioning. We understand spring/summer is a busy time, but you must be willing to make this show a priority. Not all performers will be asked to attend all rehearsals.

Actors Needed

Actors high school aged and up through all ages are welcome to audition. Experienced or first time performers who enjoy acting, singing, and dancing are invited to audition. Many roles are available to suit the talents of all of our performers.

Roles Available (Ages Listed are Playing Ages)

MR. BODDY - charismatic, handsome, playful host; soaring baritone/tenor
MRS. PEACOCK - acerbic, manipulative, sexy socialite; mezzo with belt
PROFESSOR PLUM - astute intellectual with a wry sense of humor; baritone
MISS SCARLET - shrewd, very attractive vixen; wide vocal range with belt
COLONEL MUSTARD - pompous, randy military man; baritone
MRS. WHITE - fun-loving cockney maid, portrayed by a man; wide vocal range
MR. GREEN - slick, handsome wheeler-dealer; baritone/tenor
DETECTIVE - hard-nosed, snappy, humorous female; interesting singing voice
