Open auditions for Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson at theater Barn!!
The Ridgefield Theater Barn will hold open auditions for Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, book by Alex Timbers, music and lyrics by Michael Friedman, at 37 Halpin Lane, Ridgefield, CT on Monday, March 24th and Tuesday, March 25th at 7pm. Directed by Alicia Dempster and produced by Wayne Leiss, the production will be presented Friday and Saturday evenings from May 30th through June 28th, with Sunday matinees June 9th, 16th and 25th at 5pm.
With a driving rock score and smart, funny scenes stuffed with satire, this show is a bombastic blast of energy and attitude and to make it work, the director is looking for an ensemble of actors who are excellent storytellers and have a good understanding of comedic styles, especially improvisation. Actors who sing and/or play instruments are a plus, but this is in no way a requirement for this show.
BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON is and actor driven musical rather than traditional; it encoruages breaking the fourth wall, audience participation, and rocking out! Got what it takes? Come and audition.
