Open Auditions for its Winter Musical
Baby by Sybille Pearson, David Shire and Richard Maltby, Jr.
Auditions for Community Theatre of Little Rock's Winter Musical Baby by Sybille Pearson, David Shire and Richard Maltby, Jr. will be held on January 4th and 5th at 2 pm, at The PUBLIC Theatre, 616 Center Street in Downtown Little Rock. Directed by Michael Henderson
There will be cold readings from the script and dance audition. Please prepare to sing a song and bring two copies of the sheet music. An accompanist will be on site.
Medium Size Cast, various ages
Production dates for the show are February 14th - March 2nd.
Rehearsals begin around January 8th/9th
BABY tells the story of three couples on a university campus as they deal with the painful, rewarding and agonizingly funny consequences of this universal experience. There are the college students, barely at the beginning of their adult lives; the thirty-somethings, having trouble conceiving but determined to try; and the middle aged parents, looking forward to seeing their last child graduate from college when a night of unexpected passion lands them back where they started.
Founded in 1956, the Community Theatre of Little Rock(CTLR) is Central Arkansas’s oldest and finest theater tradition. CTLR is a nonprofit, volunteer organization striving to enlighten, educate and entertain our community by providing live theatrical productions of the highest quality, as well as providing opportunities for talented people to perform and participate in all phases of producing live theater.
