Audition Notice: Are We Delicious? Musical Heroes at the Barrymore Theatre
We are looking for singing and non-singing Madison-area performers/writers to join our ensemble of writer/actors for a single performance at the Barrymore Theatre December 2nd. Everyone writes and everyone acts. Singing ensemble members will collaborate with a hand-picked group of composer/musicians to create mini-musicals.
This audition is to fill final slots in a 9-person ensemble. We’re looking for really strong performers. Pre-cast ensemble members include Kelly Maxwell, Brad Knight, Karen Moeller, and Dana Pellebon. The backing band includes Sean Michael Dargan, Andrew Rohn, and Dave Adler.
Ensemble members receive a pre-set share of the box office commensurate with the audience size.
Audition date: Saturday, October 8th at 11 am at the new StageQ rehearsal space.
One Performance: December 2nd at 7:30 pm at the Barrymore Theatre
Writing/rehearsals: seven meetings & rehearsals November 18th thru 21st, then Nov. 28 thru Dec. 2nd with no rehearsals/meetings during the Thanksgiving weekend.
