Contract Details: National tour. Non-union paid contract. 110$ USD per show.
Contract Length: Determined period of 15 consecutive months (June 1st, 2017 to August 31st, 2017). Between 200-300 shows.
Rehearsals: 80 hours of rehearsal, New York, June 15th, 2017 to June 30th, 2017
Tour: US tour will run from July 1st, 2017 to August 31st, 2018
Audition dates: April 20th, 2017 & April 21st , 2017
Callbacks: April 22nd

Project description
A Forever Frozen Story is an interactive musical in the world of Christian Hans Andersen’s fascinating tale: The Snow Queen. Destined for children and families, it features an original score and colorful characters. CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
THE SNOW QUEEN (woman, 18-30, Soprano, good belter): She is about 25 years old. She rules over a wintery kingdom and lives by herself in a gigantic ice palace. She is independent and solitary. Although strong willed and strict, she possesses a lot of empathy and is very human. She is beautiful, good and kind.
GERDA (woman, 18-30, Soprano): She is 16 and an orphan since infancy. Gerda is very smart and extraordinarily kind. She inspires and spreads joy wherever she goes. Generous, she is willing to face anything to find Kay.
KAY (man, 18-35, Tenor): Kay is 16 and also an orphan since infancy. He is a joyful and courageous man until the day he is cursed to an unexplained sadness. He is in love with Gerda, and will leave to avoid causing her pain.
OMA (woman 25-40, Mezzo): An old, kind woman who has adopted Kay and Gerda. This actor will play multiple roles.
GRUSOM (man, 25-40, Baritone or Bass): He is a dark and malevolent wizard. Extremely clever, he likes to cause harm to the villagers by cursing them. This actor will play multiple roles.
FIASKO (man, 25-40, Tenor): Fiasko’s clumsy sidekick, he accompanies Grusom out of brotherly love. This actor will play multiple roles.
BÉE (woman/man, 18-40, Alto/tenor): Bée is a kind, but simple reindeer that loves to talk and becomes a loyal friend to Gerda. This actor will play multiple roles.
