BATS Theatre Presents TINDERBOX 11/25; Announces Upcoming Productions

The final STAB show of 2011 is Tinderbox. The show has an extremely limited season, opening this Friday and running thru December 3. In another limited season, The Bacchanals touring production of Julius Caesar will play for one night only in the Pit Bar.

Plans for the upcoming Chapman Kip Awards are ramping up. The theme is 50's sci-fi, and host James Nokise has some great ideas up his sleeve - head along to Theatreview to vote for your favourites and come to the awards on December 2nd at 10pm

Tinderbox presented by The PlayGround Collective as part of STAB 2011 OPENS THIS FRIDAY!!! until Saturday 3rd December @ 7.30pm.

Tickets are $20 / $15c and $10 for the preview performance on Thursday 24th November.

The Tinderbox is an epic adventure of a soldier who comes upon a magic tinderbox. Can he resist the temptation to use it for evil? Will he find redemption and save the woman he loves? Or will he fall prey to those who will do anything to get their hands on the tinderbox?

A new work in development using an explosive range of theatrical techniques. Presented by the multi-award winning PlayGround Collective, directed by Eleanor Bishop and written by Eli Kent.

Julius Caesar by Bill Shakespeare will play on Monday 28th November @ 7PM - ONE SHOW ONLY!! at Koha - in the Pit Bar.

Shakespeare’s classic tale of how a homeless man living in the central city predicts that a politician will be stabbed in the back by his closest friends, right after an important victory at an international sporting event and a massive earthquake!

The Bacchanals present a no budget, no frills spectacular in the intimate confines of the Pit Bar.

Silent Night by Yvette Parsons will run from Tuesday 6th - Saturday 10th December @ 7pm.

Tickets are $18 / $13 and Groups of 6+ are $14.

She's harassed the pastor, wrapped the presents, sorted the tree - now all she has to do is wait for the guests to arrive.
