About the Cast & Creative Team:

GLYN BAILEY is very proud to have been appointed COMPOSER-IN-RESIDENCE for Jefferson Performing Arts Society. After the success of the 2009 JPAS production of his original musicalScandalous!, winner of the 2010 Marquee Theater Award for Best Original Musical. JPAS premiered the work in London in October of 2013, under the baton of Maestro Assaf. Glyn now looks forward to bringing more ground-breaking original works to JPAS. One such work is Mountain of Dreams, a musical which tells the heroic story of British mountaineer, George Mallory, and his quest to be the first man to conquer Mount Everest. Glyn was born and raised in England where he studied at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He holds several degrees in performance and composition and has enjoyed a successful career on the London stage and in cabaret and cruising.

ARIEL ASSAF is so excited to be working with Glyn on his delightful and witty show, One Great Moment in Time. (Really, she just likes listening to his charming English accent whenever she can!). When Ariel isn't singing, she divides her time between finishing up a Kinesiology degree at Southeastern University and running The Mcelroy Irish Dance Academy in Mandeville, of which she is the owner and artistic director. A very special moment came in 2013 when Ariel won a Big Easy Award for 'Best Supporting Actress In A Musical' for her role as Clara in Jefferson Performing Arts Society's production of The Light in the Piazza at Tulane University.

JENNIFER DELATTE is an accomplished theater and film actress who obtained her vocal performance degree from North Carolina School of the Arts conservatory. She is proud to have been named a JPAS Célébrité Étoile. She has performed all over the country and some of her favorite roles include: originating the role of Jessie Chambers (Scandalous! - The Life of D.H. Lawrence), Madame de la Grande Bouche (Disney's Beauty and the Beast), Doris Walker (Miracle on 34Th Street), Ulla (The Producers), Lina Lamont (Singin' in the Rain), Christine Colgate (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Emma Carew (Jekyll & Hyde), Maria (The Sound of Music), and Marian Paroo (The Music Man). Jennifer is an award-winning actress who has sung with Broadway veterans Bart Shatto and Brad Little, and she is currently recording her first vocal album of songs written by the amazing Glyn Bailey. Her next stage appearance will be in Le Petit Theatre's production of Merrily We Roll Along by Stephen Sondheim in late May. She recently wrapped filming a lead role in the short film The Cleaner, and is looking forward to seeing herself on screen in the highly anticipated Hank Williams biopic I Saw the Light later this year. Jennifer is thrilled to be a part of Glyn's show and is honored to sing his glorious music.

MICAH RICHERAND DESONIER is so pleased to be joining Glyn and the rest of the cast for such a fun and beautiful show. Micah was last seen in Will Rogers Follies as Z's Favorite. Some of her favorite roles have included Maria in The Sound Of Music, Hodel in The Fiddler on the Roof, Missy in The Marvelous Wonderettes, and Kathy in Singin' in the Rain. Micah was born and raised in Folsom, Louisiana. She lives there with her husband and very large family. Micah has danced with numerous dance companies around Southern Louisiana. She hopes to continue singing and dancing for a very long time. Micah would like to thank her husband and family for all their love and support. She would also like to thank JPAS for all they do for the arts in the community.

LARRY LARKIN hails from a little town in the north of England called Oswaldtwistle. The town is so small that they had to close the zoo because the duck died. He started life as a baby boy, and when he turned three years old, his father dropped him on his head, which broke his neck, and he has not looked back since! When asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, he said "a comedian", and everyone laughed ... and they are still laughing! Larry has worked with star entertainers such as Lanie Kazan, Al Martino and Charo and he can now be seen quite regularly in Cabaret Comique , a wonderful evening of music and comedy at its very best. Larry has worked extensively in Great Britain and has made numerous TV appearances on comedy programs such as "Tiswas" and "Make Me Laugh". He found fame on the UK's popular "New Faces" TV show and has appeared in various Summer Variety shows in England, and on the Isle of Jersey in the Channel Islands. Going further a field, Larry had the opportunity to fly out to the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic to entertain the British forces stationed there after the conflict. The troops welcomed him with open arms ... they thought he was their replacement! Nowadays, and for some years, travel has been very much a part of the Larkin Lifestyle, particularly on cruise ships, where he has kept guests rolling in the aisles. Larry likes traveling around the world, but next year he wants to go somewhere else. (He did want to be the first comedian on the moon, until he realized there was no atmosphere!)
